1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all teaching staff at Aerovision
International College are appropriately qualified, competent, and deployed
effectively to support high-quality learning outcomes for all students.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all academic staff, including full-time, part-time, and visiting lecturers across all programs offered by the College.

3. Teacher Qualifications

    • All teaching staff must possess the minimum academic qualifications relevant
      to their teaching discipline, as stipulated by regulatory bodies and industry
      standards.
  • Teachers must demonstrate pedagogical competence, practical experience, and/or industry exposure relevant to their subjects.
  • Relevant professional certifications and continuous professional development are encouraged and monitored.
  • Teachers must maintain a valid PEI registration as Teacher.

4. Recruitment and Verification

  • All prospective teachers undergo a recruitment process, including verification
    of academic credentials, employment history, and professional references.
  • Background checks and eligibility verification are mandatory to ensure the
    integrity and safety of the learning environment.

5. Deployment and Assignment

  • Teachers are deployed based on their subject expertise, teaching experience,and program requirements and approved by AEB.
  • Teachers will only be deployed after the teacher’s application has been
    approved by AEB for the particular course/ diploma and submitted online to
    GoBusiness and approved by SSG. Until this process been approved thru GoBusiness; teachers shall strictly not be deployed or be assigned for any classes/ course/ diploma.
  • Class allocations consider teacher-student ratios, teaching load, and
    curriculum complexity.

6. Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Teachers’ performance is regularly monitored through classroom
    observations, student feedback, and assessment outcomes.
  • Professional development plans are established to address gaps in competencies or nowledge.
  • Non-compliance with qualifications or performance standards may lead to reassignment, additional training, or termination, following due process.

7. Policy Review

This policy is reviewed annually to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and the College’s strategic goals.
